Composite Taper Clamp

Body: Medium Carbon Steel and Blackened.

Jaw:  Medium Carbon Steel, Heat Treated and Blackened.

Composite Taper Clamp is a low, wedge action, side clamp for thick plate holding.

Its low height design is suitable to hold thick plates from sides for machining the entire top surface in one setting without any obstruction.

Tightening of the screw moves both the jaws offering forward and downward forces, holding the work piece parallel to the bed.

Due to its split jaw design, cylindrical or slightly irregular pieces can also be clamped effectively.

More than one pair needs to be used to hold longer/wider work pieces.
